ACCORDING TO THE LASTEST SEEKJobs YouTube, WE ONLY SPEND 13 YEARS AT WORK. SO MAKE IT COUNT …
The SEEKJobs website says “…Sometimes it feels like you spend your whole life working, when in reality you will only spend 13 years of your life at work. That’s just 13 precious years to achieve, create, aspire and earn.”
It suggests: “For some of us this will feel like a lifetime … for the lucky ones not nearly long enough.”
To encourage more people to make their time at work count, the SEEKJobs company has launched a new TVC campaign. SEEK Australia is an online employment company which posts job recruitment advertisements online.
The website for SEEKJobs says the company wants to “… support you in putting yourself out there in the pursuit of something better and just in case you missed it last night, we’re excited to share our TV advertisement. Hopefully, it’ll inspire a little self- reflection in you too… #MAKEITCOUNT.”
It’s an interesting short video of 50 seconds. Please watch the guy in this video who’s apparently only worked for 13 years: he’s clearly loyal, shows allegiance to his work, has passion, believes in ownership, is diligent, adaptable – and older. Most of these are key phrases which the SEEKJobs site suggests are necessary to use to create impact in your next job interview.
It is worth noting the impact of the 13 years of work on the guy’s face, hands, neck, posture and hairline.
